What I wish for most of all is that people become more considerate of each other and handle nature more sensitively. So we find a good way to survive. Love is to conquer hatred and faith to move mountains. For my family and my friends I wish health, happiness and success and also creative thoughts that can save the earth. Hatred, envy and suspicion will lead to our mutual destruction while every individual is important and every living being is valuable. More mutual understanding for only together we can save our world. Where are we heading to, running ourselves to ground? I am watching attentively, not staying behind rose-colored windows, and I do believe in our future. But time is running out. I would like to embrace and protect the earth. We must begin to live our dreams. Our technology should nestle into nature, go into symbiosis with it, not hurting it. More cost-efficient, more grateful, more thoughtful where our resources are concerned. There is a rough wind blowing, sensitive souls are easily broken. I want to give a positive motivation, strengthen backbones, it is worthwhile to fight. Anyone who is stuck in his fate as in a hole gladly grasps a helping hand. Which often is not there. The pressure on each and everyone is mounting. Many people work against each other. Most often we see only the negative of our counterpart. There are many lonely, sad, unhappy people. Something as precious as life should not be thrown away carelessly. Originally we aimed for a better and easier life with our technology. But it got out of hand. Children have to learn faster and faster how to orientate themselves in this world - how to adapt to the newest technology. A just global distribution of good - who entitles us to let people starve? I give everything for humanity, for a better future and I am looking forward to the times when the world will be filled with warmth once again. Vera Buhl was born in Iphofen, a little town in Southern Germany, in August 1972. It was because of her nephew Nicolas and her niece Sophie that it occured to her to write stories for children. Through her books she intends to pass on know-how on living in and with nature in an easy way, stirring imagination and creative thinking. So they learn to quickly adapt to various situations in life. Vera Buhl would like to make aware of the fragility, variety and beauty of nature, especially with the help of her photos and videos.
